Main Street Festival

The Laurel Amateur Radio Club will be supporting the Laurel Main Street Festival Saturday May 2nd. For anyone interested in helping out, we will need 3-4 operators around 6-6:30am to help set up the club /information booth and be available to shadow officials if needed. Around 7:30 am we will need 6-10 operators for the parade. We will also need some volunteers to staff the amateur radio position in the city's mobile command unit. Bring your 2m HT and extra batteries if you got them!
We will be meeting in front of the Women's club on Main Street for set up and 6th and Montgomery for the parade.
Please let me know if you plan to come. It will help with the planning. No experience is necessary, if you don’t have an HT, we can find a loaner for you!
